Welcome to Camp JOY, Schwenksville, PA

Camp JOY is an accredited, special needs camp for children, youth, and adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, such as mental retardation, autism, brain injury, and neurological disorders. Located near Philadelphia, Camp JOY's recreational services include Summer Camp and Weekend Getaways. Campers gain socialization and other life skills while having fun in the outdoors with friends, old and new. Nursing care is provided. Summer 2010 marks our 36th season.

Special Events

Thank you to all biker participants and supporters of the 16th Annual Penn-Del Poker Run held on June 27, 2010. Proceeds benefit the Camp JOY Campership Fund for economically disadvantaged campers. For information regarding this annual event, contact Jim Hay, (w) 610-436-0400; (h) 610-696-7750.

**The Annual Woods Services Foundation Golf Classic benefiting Camp JOY is scheduled for October 18, 2010 at Manufacturer's Golf Club. Golfers and Sponsors make this event a success. The fun event includes golf, food, prizes and silent auction.

Camp Sessions

Summer Camp: residential and day camp programs. Activities include swimming, pony rides, music, dances, arts & crafts, drama, field trips, and lots of other fun stuff!
